Two arrested in the shooting of Watford man

Two people who are being held in the Clay County (Minnesota) Correctional Facility in connection with the July 25, murder of Brian Rowe of Watford City have been charged with multiple felony charges. Rowe was found deceased with multiple gunshot wounds near 114th Ave. NW and 1B Street NW on the Gap Road in the Killdeer Mountains in Dunn County.
On July 27, after being contacted, the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Moorhead, Minn., Police Department arrested Carlos Mendivil-Beltran, 28, of New Mexico, who was using the name Carlos Ortiz as an alias, without incident at 3:15 p.m when he was found under the stairwell of an apartment building in the 500 block of 32nd Avenue South in Moorhead. A handgun was found in the area, police said.
Moorhead police also took into custody, 28-year-old Jessica Sauressig of Wisconsin, a female acquaintance of Mendivil-Beltran.
