Watford City’s water, sewer rates going up

Watford City residential and business owners will be seeing an increase in their water and sewer charges beginning in January.
During the city council’s regular meeting on Monday, Jan. 3, the council approved raising the city’s base water rate, the water unit charge and the irrigation rate by two percent and a three percent increase in residential and commercial sewer base and unit rates.
But the good news is that the city is not increasing its monthly garbage rates.
