W.C.H.S. students named to Vision West board

There’s several things that local students, Ally Cross and Aidan Pelton, have in common - they both grew up in Watford City and they both attend Watford City High School (W.C.H.S.). More importantly, they both like it here. So much so, they’re setting out to help see that others feel the same way.
As Cross and Pelton were recently named to the Vision West ND’s (VWND) Board of Directors, their aim is to tap into what it will take to make a difference for retaining the population in their hometown of Watford City and ultimately, throughout the western region of North Dakota.
“We opened it up to the students to be on our board of directors and Ally and Aidan said they were interested,” says Amy Polivka, Watford City High School science teacher. “For Vision West, I felt like they had a really good vision of it and what it was all about.”
