Youth fishing derby returns to Nature Park

If you’ve been wishing your kiddos could be fishing, wish no more as the 17th Annual Children’s Fishing Derby will be held at the Kent Pelton Nature Park in Watford City from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 5.
“We have it there every year. It’s a really great place to go fishing rather than driving 15 to 20 minutes outside of town,” says Ian Eisenschenk, Rough Rider Center recreation specialist.
