Pearl Swenson

On July 8, 2018, Jesus took the hand of Pearl Swenson and walked her to her heavenly home.
Pearl was born February 22, 1929, on a farm south of Watford City, N.D., the daughter Ernest and Dorothy Sondrol. Pearl attended rural school in McKenzie County until high school when she attended Watford City High and graduated in 1946. She then went onto Business College in Minot, N.D.
Pearl married Lynn Swenson, a young farmer, near Charlson, N.D., on June 16, 1956. Together they raised one son, Cary, who currently lives in St. Joseph, Minn., with his wife, Renee. Pearl was a member of the Keene Lutheran Church. She was a very active member of the Ladies Circle and general aide. Pearl also taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. Pearl and Lynn attended the Lord of Life Church in Bismarck, since moving to Bismarck in 2014.
Pearl loved being involved with Homemaker’s Club, bowling, golfing, and bridge. The couple spent 24 wonderful years in Mesa, Ariz. Pearl was devoted to her family and friends. Her two granddaughters, Keily and Kristina, were a very special gift from God as far as Pearl was concerned. She loved every minute she spent with them. The four great-grandchildren were just the icing on the cake for her and Lynn.
