Zachary Lewton

Zachary Dean Lewton, 18, of Hazen, N.D., went to be with his heavenly father on March 15, 2022. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. CDT, Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah. Services will be held at 10 a.m. CDT on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Peace Lutheran Church, Beulah, N.D. with Pastor Kent Sperry officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Beulah, N.D.
Zachary was born Sept. 3, 2003, to David and Bonnie (Strom) Lewton. As a child he attended elementary school in Mandan, N.D. He loved to play at the park, go swimming, and play Minecraft with his family and friends. When he got a little older, he and his family moved to Beulah, where he attended middle school. He went to Hazen for high school.
Even as a child Zach loved games and it progressed as he got older. He really enjoyed designing games in Roblox. He wanted to pursue a career in video game design. Other things he really loved doing was spending time with his family and friends, whether it be going on a road trip, going out to eat, or listening to music. He also liked watching anime, his favorite was “Jo Jo.”
Zach was a great son, brother, uncle, and friend. He would give the best hugs when you really needed it. Zach was also great at making people laugh. He would act weird and like a total goof just to put a smile on another person’s face. Please consider bringing a photo of Zach to pin on the board or a letter telling a story you experienced with him to give to the family.
Zach is survived by his parents, David Lewton, Watford City, N.D., and Bonnie Lewton (John Hamilton), Hazen, N.D.; sisters, Ashley Kisse, Dodge, N.D., and Brianna Johnson (Justin), Hazen, N.D.; brother, Treyton Lewton, Hazen, N.D.; niece, Eliana Getz, Hazen, N.D.; grandmother, Janet Strom, Beulah, N.D.
