Carol Abbey
Carol Evangeline “Angie” Abbey, 53, of Del Valle, Texas, went to dance with our Lord Jesus on Feb. 12, 2022. Angie was born June 30, 1968, in Stanley, N.D., the daughter of Harlan and Carol (Ericson) Rolla. She was raised on the family homestead in Charlson, N.D.
On May 3, 1986, Angie was united in marriage to Jeffrey Scott Abbey. They first made their home wherever the United States Air Force sent them. First Texas, then England, California, and eventually back to Texas.
Angie worked for many years in Human Resources and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in that field in 2009. She chose this field because of her love to help people.
She enjoyed reading, cooking, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family.
Her life is celebrated by her loving husband of 35 years, Scott Abbey of Del Valle; children, Erin Abbey of Del Valle and Ian Abbey of San Marcos; brother, David Rolla (Tammy) of Williston, N.D., Hope Kovaloff (Brian) of Mandan, N.D., Conrad Rolla (Cherri) of Charlson, N.D.; four nephews; three nieces; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Carol Rolla.
A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 10 a.m. at River Valley Christian Fellowship. Please help celebrate her life in color as she would want.
