Alexander Comets prepare for playoffs

Alexander traveled to Surrey on Friday night where they defeated the Mustangs 32-8 to conclude their regular season schedule. Alexander ended the year with an impressive record of 8-1 and a spot in the 9-Man playoffs for the first time since 1980.
“It’s a pretty awesome opportunity for our kids,” said Alexander head coach, Trey Jacobson. “I had no idea it had been that long since Alex had been in a playoff game, so that makes it a little more exciting. Had all the old alumni in town talking about the old days, which was fun to hear.”
