Both the boys and girls track teams from Watford City High School had a meet in Williston on March 31.
Boys’ Coach David Gumke said, “We had a good day in Williston. The athletes were all very competitive. We saw many improvements in their marks from the previous meet.
“Aaron Cutshall took 2nd and set a personal record in the triple jump and is very close to the school record, missing it by only half an inch. Ethan Dennis was 2nd in the 60m and set a personal record. Parker Schuster set a personal record in the 800m while placing 3rd. Tanner Edwards set a personal record in the 1600, while placing 6th. He is on track to break that record this season. We are also pretty excited about Thayden Arnold, who is a freshman that had a 40’9” shot put mark and placed 9th.”
