At the final indoor meet of the track season, there were seven of the 11 WDA schools present. This made it a very competitive meet for all involved. Both teams had a lot of good marks and personal records (PR).
Boys Track Coach David Gumke said, “The guys are really working hard and being very competitive in their events. It is fun to watch them work through their events. They are doing all of the little things to keep improving and be successful out on the track and field. This will be our final indoor meet. It is now outdoor or nothing.”
The coach of the girls track team, Derek Roemmich said, “We are very young, but we are still competing with the other WDA schools. We have a couple older classman that are helping guide the others to be competitive.”
