Junior Gold goes 1-2 in hockey action
The Watford City Oilers went 1-2 as they traveled to the east side of the state for three games last weekend
On Friday, the Oilers lost to the Northwood Ice Storm, 8-4.
Rylan Olson started the scoring just 50 seconds in with a break-away goal scored on a long spring pass from Cody Reeves. Then midway through the first period, Tyler Leiseth scored his first career goal on a Gabe Smith and then Smith scored on a power play goal with an assist from Nick Brunelle to give the Oilers a 3-1 lead after the first period.
