The nice thing about playing on a turf field is that Watford City had one of the only baseball fields ready for play thanks to some hard work by the Watford City Parks and Recreation Dept. crews who were able to get the playing area cleared of snowdrifts following last week’s three-day blizzard.
And with another snowstorm predicted to hit the area over the past weekend, the Wolves took on Bismarck High on Tuesday.
In Tuesday’s action, Watford City fell to the Demons by scores of 5-4 and 13-0.
The next action for the Wolves will be on May 3, when they travel to Dickinson.
