Wrestlers compete at Rumble on the Red

Watford City sent seven wrestlers to the Rumble on the Red Tournament in Fargo on Dec. 29 and 30 with two competing in the varsity division, while five wrestled in the junior varsity division.
At the varsity level, Ike Boekelman and Cash Fladland competed at 126 and 152 pounds, respectively.
Boekelman lost a 12-6 decision to Brody Ignaszewski, Albert Lea, in his first round before coming back to earn a 3-0 decision over Cohen Hoffman, Wayzata. Boekelman then pinned Adam Lohse of Ashby-Brandon-Evansville in 2:11 before being decisioned 8-1 by Chandler Mickelson, Perham.
