NDDOT updates Hwy. 85 four-lane project

This year the North Dakota Department of Transportation has contracted 168 projects totalling $640 million of work accross the state. District 7, the Williston District, which is made of McKenzie, Williams, and Divide counties, has been allocated $165 million for their road and bridge projects between September of 2022 and October of 2023.
Joel Wilt, the Williston District Engineer, gave an update on a number of those projects to the McKenzie County Board of County Commissioners on October 17, during the Board of County Commissioner meeting (BOCC). “We have the lion’s share [of the budget] and we are getting the roads fixed out here,” said Wilt.
