A three-vehicle accident involving two pickups and a semi on Monday, Aug. 24, has claimed the life of a 25-year-old Dickinson man. The accident occurred at 7:19 a.m. at mile marker 108 on U.S. Highway 85 near Grassy Butte.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Chase Barnedt, 25, of Dickinson was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 85 in a 2019 Ford F-150 pickup when he crossed the centerline and struck the side of a southbound 2017 Kenworth hauling an oversize load.
