After competing in two regional tournaments last month and the First Tech Challenge (FTC) State Championship on Feb. 5, the Alexander Robotics Team won awards at all three events and took second place at the state championship.
“With our program, which is STEM-based, 21st century skills, these are all things they’re going to use in the work place,” says Cathy White, Alexander Public School FTC Robotics coach.

“It was like a ‘capture the flag’ game,” she says.
