In today’s age, it’s hard to keep up with the technological advances that continue to revolutionize our world. It’s no secret that students with a thorough understanding of tech skills can advance further than those without it.
And for high school students at Alexander Public School, they are off to a good start this year as they were recently introduced to a Technology Education and Literacy in Schools (TEALS) program.
“They (the students) are looking at it more to broaden their knowledge and some are even looking into going into the programming field,” says Alexandria Rizzo, Alexander Public School technology and engineering teacher.
Rizzo says TEALS will be another avenue for tech-geared students to explore the field further as it gives any student a good opportunity to strengthen their grasp on technology.
