Bank celebrates reopening of Alexander location
First International Bank & Trust is celebrating the official reopening of its branch in Alexander on Wednesday, May 12, with an open house. The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the newly constructed bank with ice cream and Norwegian treats being served, as well as tours of the facility. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 5 p.m.
Initially opened in 1966, the former Alexander branch was demolished in late 2020, while a new building was constructed off-site and moved onto the original location on Elk Street.
“We wanted to invest in Alexander because it’s a beautiful town with amazing people, many of whom grew up here for generations,” states Justin Voll, Branch president. “We’re proud to serve the community and offer the town’s first drive-through and Interactive Teller Machine (ITM).”
