Dragseth couple reminisces on their lifetime together

Valentine’s Day 2023 is a celebration of love for many in our community. For Harold and Linda Dragseth, of Watford City, it’s also a chance for reflection on love at first sight, 50-plus years of marriage, and a near-death experience that inspire them to appreciate every day, and every moment together.
Harold and Linda met in their hometown of Williston in 1971.
“The moment I saw Harold, I knew I was going to marry him,” says Linda.
They were seven years apart in age, but Linda says it was Harold’s good looks that instantly drew her to him. And that nice set of wheels he was driving didn’t hurt.
“He had such a nice car,” she grins. “I thought, Geez he’s pretty good looking.”
