EAGLES AUXILIARY TO HOST ANNUAL CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY

With 160 children and 66 families already signed up, the Eagles Auxiliary in Watford City is expecting another jam-packed year for its annual Children’s Christmas Party, which will be held at the Eagles Club on Saturday, Dec. 18, from noon to 2 p.m.
“A lot of kids are asking for tablets and game systems this year. So that’s going to be a little hard,” says Danielle Brothers, Eagles Auxiliary vice president. “But we’re going to do our best.”
Last weekend, volunteers of the organization did their big, annual shopping trip where they gather coats and other winter gear, Brothers says.
