Jore inducted in ND Wrestling Hall of Fame

Rick Jore, who was one of the most dominate wrestlers for the Watford City Wolves from 1987 to 1991, was inducted into the North Dakota Wrestling Hall of Fame on Saturday, Feb. 19, during the 2022 North Dakota State Wrestling Tournament.
During his wrestling career at Watford City High School, Jore was a five-time state place finisher at North Dakota Class B State Wrestling Tournaments.
Jore made his first appearance at the state tournament in 1987 where he placed third at 98 pounds and then returned the next year to take third at 103 pounds. Jore moved up a weight class to take fourth at 119 pounds in 1990. He claimed state championship titles when he wrestled at 112 pounds in 1989 and at 130 pounds in 1991.
