Ribfest to hit Main Street Friday

Candy sweet, tart and tangy, braised or glazed, whichever type of ribs it is that you fancy, the Best of the West Ribfest is sure to feature them.
“With the large number of people that we’re anticipating coming because of Wynonna Judd, we definitely need more teams cooking ribs, says Mary Gumke, Watford City Area Chamber of Commerce executive director.
Currently, Gumke says the big, annual event is still in need of teams to cook up ribs at this year’s 19th Annual Best of the West Ribfest in Watford City on Friday, Aug. 13.
“Because what is Ribfest without a lot of ribs,” Gumke says.
