Farmer Staff Reports

Kenneth Keith Warren was charged in August 2023, with 10 counts of Felony C Possession of Certain Materials Prohibited, and two Felony B Promoting Sexual Performance By a Minor. He has entered a plea of ‘not guilty’ to all of the charges.
The eighteen year-old’s arrest and subsequent charges stemmed from an investigation that was initiated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation prohibited material was located on Warren’s phone that led to his arrest and charges.
His initial bond was set for $100,000 on Sept. 1, and was reduced on Feb. 2, to $50,000. He is still being held in the McKenzie County Correctional Facility at time of print.
According to court records, a jury trial had been scheduled for April 15, but was canceled and a change of plea hearing has now been scheduled for May 22.
The maximum penalty he could face based on his current charges is 70 years in prison and a $140,000 fine.
