Junior Gold hockey team falls to Minot
The Watford City Oilers boys high school team continued its season against the Minot Wolves with a 2-3 loss in the Oilers’ second league game on Friday, Nov. 19.
Minot opened the scoring about five minutes into the game. But the Oilers answered back when Nick Brunelle did a great job holding the puck in the offensive zone at the blue line and then passing it to Rhylan Olson. Olson had slipped a shot behind all the Minot defenders, got his own rebound for his first goal as a Junior Gold skater.
